Dave Chappelle is clapping back at the critics.
The controversial comedian gave context to why he owns tens of millions of dollars in actual estate in Yellow Springs, Ohio, in a new attribute in Bloomberg magazine.
Householders in Yellow Springs turned involved after Chappelle began obtaining big swaths of authentic estate in their compact city.
“With the decrease of Antioch Higher education many yrs in the past, Yellow Springs shed its cultural anchor,” Chappelle’s rep instructed the outlet on behalf of the comic. “My desire has usually been in restoring the cultural and creative economic climate Antioch helped to foster and which manufactured Yellow Springs a haven for art, songs, lifestyle and academia.”

Some people in the city spoke out about their fears with Chappelle’s true estate purchases in their county.
According to Bloomberg, a resident shared that the comic is “a force which is turning us into the spot that we’re all seeking to keep absent from.”
Chappelle expended most of his adolescent a long time with his mom in Washington, D.C., but lived with his father in Yellow Springs in middle school.
